The example of a truly strong, though full of worries and sadness, love contained in "The Vest" by Bolesław Prus became an inspiration for the creation of over 60 minutes long vocal-instrumental composition. The sound illustrations of the dramatic action are created, among others, by stylizations of "old Warsaw" cafe music, lullabies full of peace and warmth, nostalgic interludes or energetic musical miniatures. All these parts are intertwined with voice-over recordings that convey to the listener the most important fragments of the short story.
